Change of Clothes
Clothing must be appropriate for the weather. They must have at least one set of clothing to change into. If potty training, at least five sets of weather appropriate clothing. Also, note we do projects that are messy and can get stained, so please dress your child appropriately.
Potty Training
When the time is right, I will help you with potty training. I will not force a child to sit on the potty (some are just not ready and it scares them). Please make sure you have enough pull-ups or diaper training pants with plastic covers to put over training pants, and clothes that can pull off or be put on easily. During naptime they will need a pull-up until I feel they are ready to be without of one. I do not consider them potty trained unless they can recognize they need to go potty and verbalize it, and make it to the bathroom without an accident or need very little assistance with the process. While potty training accidents are part of the process, they will not be made to feel embarrassed or humiliated for not achieving the goal. If child is showing they are not ready we will still practice just so they get used to the idea.

In conflicts with other children I will encourage the children to talk it out, and see if they can resolve the problem together. If needed children will be separated from the group depending. If a child cannot be redirected with verbal/gentle guidance from a situation and is a threat to people or property, you will need to pick up child immediately and care can/will be terminated.
